At Res Naturae Yarns we have been creating in the fiber arts for over 25 years in a variety of media. We use the finest quality 2 ply laceweight merino wool for our base yarns for lucious texture and hand feel. We use color and washfast acid dyes custom blended to create subtle colors like those of nature around us. We are located in the beautiful rural foothills of North Central Maine overlooking the Piscataquis River.
Our customers are using these fine soft 100% merino wool yarns to create fine embroidery pieces, delicate lace knitting, punch needle embroidery, embellishments, and other handcrafted items as the fancy strikes them.
We put up our embroidery yarns in 25yd and 100 yd skeins. We have expanded our yarn selection to include new colors of our laceweight yarns
